The Flip Side, was created out of a need for educating those who wanted to create widgets for the Mac OSX platform. Many people had been making widgets including myself, without a real instruction based forum. There were many widget showcase sites, with forums, for support however, I wanted a place where, other beginner widget designers could learn the basics of programming these widgets and share them together. The podcast, allows us to gain insight from other widget desingers and programmers from all over the globe. We talk with large companies who have implemented widgets to individuals, who made something especially cool or usefull. We also talk about the things that make widgets great, such as implementing CSS and Javascript. This is a place for beginner widget designers to start to learn how to make these amazing little widgets.
